Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actress for many years. Her name is well-known due to her roles in film and television. She has a large following both on American as well as Canadian television. Emily was first interested in acting when she watched her sister Katie doing a movie. When Emily realized her love of acting, she enrolled in training in acting classes and went to auditions. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials before being selected for the Canadian children's television show Are You Are You Afraid of the Dark? where she was seen only in one scene, without any spoken dialogue. At the age of fifteen, Emily made her first big break when she was made a regular of the WB TV show Glory Days. Emily's role in the WB show Glory Days which ended up being cancelled after nine episodes, attracted the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Also a ballet dancer and a photographer Emily was previously ranked in Teen to be one of their most popular actresses under the age of 20. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 ranked Emily at 51.
