Laura Linney was one of the most renowned American actors to emerge from the past. Her strong and vulnerable roles have made her a household brand. Born to a renowned playwright's father but being raised by a single mother who worked by working as a nurse. She became interested in theatre while working with her father during the summer, eventually studying acting, initially at Brown University and then at Juilliard School. Her Broadway career after her graduation in the year 2000, before making her television debut the following year. Since then, she's performed in many films and stage and television productions. She received many accolades throughout her career which included the four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. In spite of her many accolades, she is still a lover of the theatre, and has appeared on both screen and stage.
